For many of the projects that we take on at edgeofmyseat.com, we are involved in building both the front and back-end. CSS, (X)HTML and JavaScript as well as PHP and database development. However we are also available to develop just the front-end of your web application should you already have a development team working on the back-end.

We have years of experience as front-end developers. Rachel Andrew is author of the bestselling CSS Anthology and is an authority on the CSS spec and browser issues, with many years of practical experience developing CSS layouts.

Drew McLellan was employed by Yahoo! as a front-end developer prior to joining edgeofmyseat.com and has years of experience developing JavaScript solutions.

We have found that our knowledge of the back-end helps us to fit seamlessly into the team when developing the front-end. We understand what is likely to be required by the system – for example when handling Ajax requests – and can recommend the best way to tackle a situation, working in close communication with the back-end development team.
